The International News Media Association (INMA) today unveiled plans for a Global Media Summit November 14-15 in Cape Town featuring a high-impact programme of top media executives from around the world. The INMA Global Media Summit Africa will bring together on one stage 20+ executives from the world¡¯s leading newspaper companies to focus on accelerating digital while preserving the best in print.
Sessions will focus on revenue diversification, developing digital capabilities, culture change and innovation, reinventing advertising, paid content, the new multi-media brand, and more. The Global Media Summit is a rare opportunity to connect the huge changes happening in African media markets with similar experiences in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, India, United States, Norway, Canada, Colombia, South Korea, Sweden, and Poland.
In addition to the world-class programme, international speakers will be available to Summit participants – one-on-one – to go deeper into experiences and (hopefully) help relate those experiences to your market. There will be more news and more developments on the INMA Global Media Summit Africa in the weeks and months ahead – yet I wanted to reach out to you now for planning purposes.
We expect most companies to send groups. Be aware that we have deep discounts for group registrations – especially prior to September 15. Contact me directly with questions and look out for more announcements about the INMA Global Media Summit Africa. I hope to see you in Cape Town in November!
